Privacy policy

This policy describes which personal data is processed when you visit ReCutec (a brand of Nagler Normalien GmbH) and on what legal basis. This is a courtesy translation; in case of doubt the German privacy policy is authoritative.

III. For what purposes and on what legal bases do we process personal data?

a) Visiting our website

When you visit our website for purely informational purposes – i.e. you do not register or otherwise provide us with information – we collect only the personal data that your browser transmits. This includes: IP address, date and time of the request, time-zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (the specific page), access status / HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred in each case, the website from which the request comes, browser, language and version of the browser software. We also store this data, including the IP address, in log files of our hosting provider.

This data is technically necessary for us to display our website, ensure stability and security, and optimise our offering. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest arising from the purposes stated.

We delete this data after 7 days at the latest. Any storage beyond this takes place only after the IP address has been deleted or anonymised.

b) Cookies & tracking

recutec.de currently uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking services (e.g. Google Analytics, Tag Manager, social-media plug-ins). Visitors are not recognised across sessions. Should this change in future, we will amend this policy accordingly and, where required, obtain your consent.

c) Enquiry form & email contact

When you use our enquiry form, we process the data you provide (e.g. company, contact person, email, phone, technical details on dimensions, material, quantity and demand, and any uploaded drawings or photos) solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR (enquiry to prepare a contract) or Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling business enquiries).

If you contact us directly via the email addresses we provide, we store the personal data you transmit in order to answer your enquiry.

The data is deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively processed and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. You may also object to the processing at any time.

d) Orders & online shop

recutec.de currently offers no online ordering process with a shopping cart or customer account. Enquiries about industrial knives and wear parts are made via the contact form or directly by email or phone and are handled individually by us.

e) Data sheets & brochures (PDF downloads)

Documents such as product brochures are available for download as static PDF files. When downloading, no personal data is collected beyond the technical access data mentioned under a).

IV. What are your rights?

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

– the right of access,
– the right to rectification or erasure,
– the right to restriction of processing,
– the right to object to processing,
– the right to data portability.

You may also lodge a complaint about us with a data protection supervisory authority.

If you have given us consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the withdrawal.
